Living by the Newcomerstown Middle School, it's amazing how people ignore street signs. You have people making turns on red, turning left on a one-way street that says "No Left Turn," and the school zone speed limit is as fast as you can go past the school.

I witnessed a West School pupil who was hit by a car because the car was not wanting to stop at the red light. I know the fine for making a left turn on the one-way street is $500 but what is the fine for getting over 20 mph in a school zone?

I have to go around the block to get to my house. Why can't others follow the street laws?
