Not many small towns are privileged to have the awesome police force like Newcomerstown, Ohio.
I'm speaking specifically about the care they give to our elderly parents. It is not uncommon for one of the officers, or even the police chief, to stop by and check on our parents at least twice a week. Sometimes, they even call.
Today, my parents had their driveway and front porch shoveled by one of Newcomerstowns finest officers. Saying thank you is clearly not enough. But just know that you are appreciated, at least by my family.
I just want to say, thank you, for all your care and concern for not only our parents but all citizens in your community. We can all learn a lesson from them. Watch out for your neighbor. Show love, compassion, and understanding for one another. One of Gods greatest commandments is love. Matthew 22:39.
Love your neighbor as yourself
