Blessings

Just recently I read the book, "One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven" by Mark Cahill.

Of course the one thing I won't be able to do in Heaven is tell the lost about Jesus. I will not be able to share my faith with the lost because there will be no lost in Heaven. I must tell them today.

The book is about how, when, where and why I can share my faith. I found it very motivational and very inspiring.

Mark 16:15 says, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 28:19 and 20 also teach that I am to witness, as do many other verses throughout the Bible.

To witness to the lost is not only a desire, it is a command. I don't need to be a missionary in a foreign land, I don't need to be a part of a witnessing "team", nor does it need to be a planned encounter with a lost person. Wherever and whenever God gives the opportunity is a time to witness. My mission field is all around me. As the author says, "To be a missionary you don't have to cross the sea, you just have to see the cross."

Satan wants me to believe that I can't witness to the lost, but that is just another one of his lies. Maybe I can't and won't do or say things as you do, but I will do my best to speak for God: His way, His time and His place. If He gives the opportunity, He will give me the words and the courage to speak.

Let me share one more thing the author said in the book. It says, "Witnessing: God loves it; Satan hates it. So do you think you should be doing it?"

It's a blessing when God leads in my service to Him.
