As I drove today I heard a pastor on the radio mention that we all have a story to tell, our testimony. Our story would tell of where God brought us from and where He intends that we go.

God saved me when I was 14 years old so the sins I knew about were not the worldly, life changing ones. Those did not come until later. Yes, there was a time when I lived out of the will of God and I learned, and regretted, the worldly sins I had not known of before. When I returned to the God who loves me and committed my life to serving Him He once again forgave my sins. Once again He cleaned me up, turned me the direction I was to go and led me in a new way. I don't know what God has planned for my life, or even how long it may be. I do know I will spend the rest of my days loving and serving Him. No matter how discouraged I may become, I know in my heart I will never again walk away from God. The song says I am led by the hand that was broken to pardon the lost, and it was nailed to the old rugged cross. When I felt the healing wound in the palm of His hand I knew the strength, love and power in that hand and I can't let go. I can't know what God has planned for the remainder of my life but as each day comes I will hold to His hand, search for His will and follow Him.

What about you, how did your story begin? How will it end? In this middle part, the daily living part, are you following Him or have you walked away? Will you come back, please? Will you resolve again, never to let go of the hand of the one who loves you as no other ever could? Thank you for your love for the Lord, your service and dedication.

God knows each of our stories, from beginning to end. What a blessing to know He is with us from the front cover to the very last page.
