2007 Eureka Hardware changed hands to Dick McCoy, Cambridge, of Orme-Do It Best Hardware. McCoy assumed the duties as proprietor March 6. Daisy Mae John and Renny Ray Glazer announced their engagement. Wedding plans were set for April 21, 2007, at Hartwood Church, near Newcomerstown.

Volunteers desperately needed for home meals delivery

The Harcatus Senior Nutrition home delivered meals is in desperate need of volunteers to help with their program. It takes two volunteers a day. four days a week, Monday thru Thursday and runs for an hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is a volunteer program, but the payback is very good.

2007 NHS students came out winners when region musicians gathered at Massillon Perry High School for the Solo Ensemble Contest, Feb. 3. Newcomerstown's 15 soloists received either the Excellent or Superior ratings for their impressive performances. Ridgewood won IVC tournament.
