DOVER -- Ridgewood had four wrestlers place in the top four as the Generals came in seventh in the annual Dover Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.

Maple Heights rolled in with 290 points to win the event while Harrison Central was second with 288.

Marlington was third with 196, followed by Lake Catholic (183), Jackson (182), Dover (167), Ridgewood (127), Coshocton (107), Harrison Central "B" (59), and Warren JFK (34).

The General's Zach Queen was second in the heavyweight division. Teammate Nathan Anderson was second at 160 while Will Allen (135) and Jake Conrad (171) each took third.

Mike Fee of Lake Catholic (152) was named the most valuable wrestler.

NHS wrestlers place in Hillsdale Invite

HILLSDALE -- Newcomerstown had seven wrestlers place at the Hillsdale Invitational on Saturday.

Marcus Mardis led the way for the Trojans as he came in second in the 140 pound weight class.

Third place finishes went to Brian Beckett (135) and Jess Yoho (171). Coming in fourth was David Wilmes (130) while Cassey Dressler (103), Tre Barthalow (119), and Ed Lyons (215) each came in sixth place.

The Trojans participate in the Malvern Hornet Holiday Classic this Saturday.
