WEST LAFAYETTE -- Ridgewood lost to Granville 4-0 on Tuesday. The Lady Aces scored in the opening minute of the match and maintained a 1-0 lead at halftime. Granville added three more goals in the second half for the shutout win.

Amanda Bible and Latisa Sharier split time in net for the Lady Generals. Bible made eight saves while Sharier collected five.

Wooster defeated

WOOSTER -- In girl's varsity soccer on Saturday, Ridgewood defeated Wooster Triway 2-0.

Sterling Wilkerson redirected a Paige Erb corner kick with :16 seconds before halftime to give the Lady Generals a 1-0 lead at intermission.

Taylor Davis made it 2-0 in Ridgewood's favor with 20:40 to play as she knocked in a loose ball that bounced off the hands of Triway goalkeeper, Katie Fehrenbach.

Triway beats Generals

Triway outshot Ridgewood 14-4 but the General defense held strong.

"Our defense really played well," said head coach, Casey Claxon. "Amanda Bible made some big saves in goal for us. Latisa Sharier, Paige Erb, Mackenzie Bates, Nicole Hardesty, and Jessica Olinger did a great job holding them off and denying shots."

Bible recorded her third shutout of the season as she collected 11 saves.

Ridgewood improved to 3-2 while Triway dropped to 1-5-2.

The Lady Generals next play Coshocton at 5pm on Thursday at Kids America.
