Dave OssoNewcomerstown NewsWOOSTER -- Triway racked up 436 yards of offense en route to a 40-7 win over Indian Valley on Friday.The Titans scored twice in the first quarter on a 60 yard pass from Derek Carmichael to Ron Polen and an 11 yard pass to Cole Drake to make it 13-0.Triway scored twice again in the second period, this time of a 7-yard pass from Carmichael to Drake and a 1-yard Polen run. The teams headed into the lockers at halftime with the Titans leading 26-0.Indian Valley got onto the score board in the third quarter when quarterback Adam Mizer hit Dusty Byers on a 19-yard strike. Dakota Sentz added the extra point to make it 26-7.Two more Titan touchdowns in the same quarter sealed the Brave's fate. Carmichael scored on a 9-yard run while Drake took in from the 1-yard line.Carmichael finished with 326 yards and three touchdowns on a 21-of-30 performance. He also scored twice. Drake has three TDs, two receiving and one rushing.Mizer was 4-of-11 for 122 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Braves, who also had 74 yards on the ground. Indian Valley (2-5, 1-3 PAC) hosts Fairless this Friday.
