CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Indian Valley battled CVCA to a scoreless first quarter but fell behind two touchdowns in the second on their way to a 25-0 loss to the Royals on Friday.

Both teams stuck to the ground in the rain-driven game as they passed only four times apiece for a combined total of eight yards. (Indian Valley had all eight yards.) Instead, the Royals outgained the Braves 296-124 on the ground.

Alex Utley led the Royals with three touchdown runs, which included jaunts of 11 and 2 yards in the second quarter, and a 3-yard plunge in the third frame. Howard Bollar added the final score of the night for CVCA with a 25-yard run in the last quarter.

Dakota Sentz had 61 yards on 17 attempts for Indian Valley.

Indian Valley closes out the season by traveling to Zoar to take on Tusky Valley. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.
