STEUBENVILLE -- Ridgewood held Ohio's all-time leading scorer in check for 66 minutes before falling to St. Clairsville 4-0 in the Division II sectionals.

The Red Devil's Jaclyn Dutton, who has tallied 193 career goals in four years, got her team on the board on a direct kick with 24:00 remaining in the match.

Following an Amanda Bible punt, the Ridgewood keeper was called for handling the ball outside the box, making it 2-0.

The score went to 3-0 on Dutton's second goal, which came via a direct kick following a Ridgewood foul outside the 18. Dutton, who has scored 59 goals this year and will play at Clemson next fall, scored her final goal on a breakaway with 6:16 to play.

Chelsea Welmsley knocked in the final goal with 2 minutes left.

Bible made 16 saves in goal.

"I'm really proud of our team's effort," said Coach Casey Claxon. "We competed and played hard. Our girls had a great year and they should be proud of their accomplishments this season."

Ridgewood finished the year at 6-5-2. It is the Lady General's first winning season and their best record since the program was established.
