The annual Cy Young Run took place last weekend as part of the Cy Young Festival in Newcomerstown. Events included a 4-mile, 2-mile and 1-mile run. The starting and finish lines for all races was at Cy Young Park.
Randy Rufener and Courtney Oliver were the overall winners in the 4-mile run. Rufener won the overall and men's division with a time of 25:37, while Oliver took the women's division in 28:37.
Second place runners were Matt Hizer (26:04) in the men's and Mary Beth Baumberger (30:17) in the women's.
Daniel Mullen won the men's 2-mile run in 11:15 and Courtney Emler took the women's race in 14:28.
