Newcomerstown Schools to host summer camps for youth, middle school students

The Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District will host a variety of summer camps for grade school and middle school student-athletes. Newcomerstown High School coaches will host camps for wrestling, football, boys and girls basketball, volleyball, and track. Coaches will be distributing detailed information about each camp through the schools, but the highlights are listed here:

Wrestling -- June 7-12, 3:30 to 7 p.m., Newcomerstown Middle School, for grades 4 through 12. For information, contact Coach JJ Lute at 498-4151.

Football youth camp -- June 21, 23 and 24, 6 to 8 p.m. for grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. For information, contact Coach Eric Brock at (330) 472-7264.

Boys' basketball Hoops and Dreams Camp -- June 17-18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Newcomerstown High School, for grades 2 through 12. For information, contact Coach Dan Weekley at 498-4151.

Girls' basketball youth camp -- Saturday, June 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for grades 2 through 8. For information, contact Coach Craig Hamilton at 498-8151.

Volleyball youth/middle school camp -- June 21-24, 5 to 7 p.m., for grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. For information, contact Coach John Dupke at (330) 447-8896.
