UHRICHSVILLE -- Newcomerstown and several other IVC schools will begin sectional play at Claymont High School as the Division IV tournament begins.

In addition to the Lady Trojans, it will be Hiland, Strasburg, Central Catholic, Malvern and Conotton Valley. Top seed honors went to the Lady Hawks while the Lady Trojans drew the second seed.

Strasburg will meet Central Catholic in the upper bracket at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 to start things off while Newcomerstown and Malvern will play in the second game at 8 p.m. The two winners will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 to advance to district play at Gnadenhutten and take on the Union Local lower bracket winner.

Hiland will take on Toronto at 6 p.m. Feb. 17 in the lower bracket while Conotton Valley meets Steubenville Catholic Central at 8 p.m. The two winners meet Feb. 23 for a berth in the Gnadenhutten district and to face the winner of the Union Local upper bracket.

Division III

DOVER -- Ridgewood and Indian Valley will compete at the eight-team Dover sectional with the two top teams advancing to the districts at Steubenville.

Garaway and Tusky Valley came away with the No. 1 and 2 seeds for the tournament.

On Feb. 14, Ridgewood meets Sandy Valley at 6 p.m. in upper bracket play while Buckeye Trail plays Tusky Valley at 8 p.m. The winners of each game go at it on Feb. 23 at 6 p.m.

In the lower bracket, Barnesville and Harrison Central compete on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m., followed by Indian Valley and Garaway at 8 p.m. The winners will meet at 8 p.m. Feb. 23 for a district berth chance.
