WOOSTER -- The Indian Valley bats were quiet most of the game as the team could only muster three hits in a 2-1 loss to Triway on Friday.

The Titans scored twice in the second inning and proved to be enough for the Principals Athletic Conference win.

Jonathon Howard was tagged with the loss for the Braves (5-4, 4-2 PAC). Zane Shuss had a double to lead at the plate.

WEST LAFAYETTE -- The Generals were held to two hits by Hiland's Luke Burch as they suffered a 12-0 setback to their IVC rival on Friday.

The Hawks scored twice in the second inning and added 10 more insurance runs as Ridgewood (8-5, 3-2 IVC) couldn't crack the scoring column. Thomas Ellis took the loss for the Orange and Black, who committed seven errors compared to one for Hiland. Skylor Dennis connected on a double for the Generals.

WEST LAFAYETTE -- Trent Lingo struck out 12 batters while the Trojans committed four errors to help the Generals roll to a 6-1 Inter-Valley Conference win on Thursday.

Joe Crank suffered the loss for the Trojans (0-6, 0-4 IVC), fanning six and walking none in four innings. Paul Matthews and Tyler Craigo each worked an inning, combining for three strikeouts and five walks.

Lingo (3-1) got the win for Ridgewood (8-4, 3-1 IVC) with his 12 Ks and just one walk. Zak Keesee came on to pitch the seventh and walked one.

Both teams had seven hits, with Jordan Wharff pacing the Trojans with a double and single, while Doug Dorsey added a double. Lingo and Thomas Ellis each had doubles for Ridgewood.

GNADENHUTTEN -- The Braves bounced back from their loss on the previous day to the Mustangs with a 2-1 win over the same team on Thursday. The loss was the first for Tuslaw (7-2, 4-1 PAC) in league play.

Logan Cozart was master of the mound for Indian Valley as he allowed just two base hits while striking out 10.

The Braves (5-3, 4-1 PAC) scored both of their runs in the fifth inning, one from Kyle Lehigh's sacrifice fly and the other from Cozart's RBI groundout.

Garaway 4, Nc'town 1

The Trojans stayed winless Wednesday night with a 4-1 loss to visiting Inter-Valley Conference foe Garaway.

Duane Troyer was the winning pitcher for the Pirates (5-2, 2-2 IVC), teaming up with Tyler Miller to fan five batters and walk three. Doug Dorsey took the loss on the mound for the Trojans (0-5, 0-3 IVC) as he struck out four and walked one.

Caleb Fenton cracked a single and also scored Newcomerstown's only run in the sixth inning with Hayden McAfee getting credit for the RBI.

Clint Miller recorded a double, single, and three RBI for Garaway.

MASSILLON -- The Braves were handcuffed by Phil Zorger of the Mustangs as they were shut out in a PAC game on Wednesday, 1-0.

Indian Valley (4-3, 3-1 PAC) could only manage two hits and they were both singles by Dusty Byers. Kyle Lehigh took the hard-luck loss as he only surrendered four hits. Tuslaw (7-1, 4-0 PAC) got its lone run in the fourth inning.

Ridgewood 8, Malvern 7

MALVERN -- The Generals scored three runs in the fourth inning and four more in the fifth to propel themselves to an 8-7 IVC win over the Hornets on Wednesday.

A two-run base hit by Ryan Lowe proved to be the winning runs as it put Ridgewood up 8-6. Lowe, who also had a double and three RBI total for the game, struck out seven while getting the mound win for the Generals (7-4, 2-1 IVC). Thomas Ellis had an RBI double and pitched two perfect innings, including four strikeouts, to get credit for the save. Trent Lingo had an RBI single.

Sean Kettering blasted three home runs for Malvern (2-4, 1-2 IVC) but only finished with four RBI. Jeremy Lynch was tagged with the loss.

LEESVILLE -- The Generals blasted the Rockets with an 11-1 mercy-rule win in IVC action on Monday.

Trent Lingo led the 12-hit parade with two doubles and two singles for the Generals (6-4, 1-1 IVC). Dakota Albertson came through with a double and two-RBI single while Zak Keesee added two base hits. C.J. Grove gave up four hits in picking up the win. Brandon Bailey suffered the loss for Conotton Valley (2-4).

LOUDONVILLE -- The Generals split a pair with the Redbirds last Saturday. Ridgewood hammered its host in the first game, 13-1, but couldn't get on the board in the second game and fell 3-0.

In game one, Zak Keesee fired a one-hitter through five innings of the mercy-rule shortened game. Thomas Ellis and Skylor Dennis each had two RBI on base hits as the Generals moved to 5-4 on the day

In game two, Dakota Albertson was tagged with the loss.

WOOSTER --The Braves split a doubleheader with the Scotties last Saturday, taking the first game 13-6 but falling in the second 5-3.

Zane Shuss led Indian Valley at the plate in game one with a double and two singles while Brady Byers and Holden Fellers came through with two base hits apiece.

Kyle Lehigh got the win on the mound.

In game two, Logan Cozart clubbed two home runs and had a single for the Braves but it wasn't enough in the run column to pull out the win. Dusty Byers came through with a double. Jonathon Howard took the mound loss for Indian Valley (4-2).
