GNADENHUTTEN -- The Lady Braves scored a 9-2 victory over the Lady Trojans in PAC action on Friday.

Rikki Ohler led Indian Valley at the plate with a triple and single while Vanessa Zeigler nailed two base hits.

Morgan Miles got credit with the pitching win for the Lady Braves (6-5, 3-5 PAC).

Chelsea Bell, who had a double on offense, took the loss for Timken.

MAGNOLIA -- A six run outburst in the fourth inning propelled the Lady Cardinals to a 7-5 win over the Lady Generals on Friday.

Lisa Bowling, who struck out one and walked three, got the pitching win as she held the Generals to five runs on seven hits. Kelli Mohr led Sandy Valley (8-5, 7-3 IVC) with a triple and single.

Taylor Zinkon gave up seven runs on eight hits as she took the loss for Ridgewood (3-12, 3-7 IVC) . Zinkon walked three and struck out one.

On offense, the Lady Generals were led by Laura Dotson, who had a double and two base hits while Amanda Bible came through with a triple and two RBI. Haley Cutshall contributed an RBI single.

Central Catholic 6, Newcomerstown 1

The visiting Lady Saints took advantage of seven errors by the Lady Trojans on Thursday to post a 6-1 Inter-Valley Conference victory.

Drew Abbas picked up the win for TCC in the circle with five strikeouts and just one walk. Aerial Green suffered the loss for NHS, fanning one and giving up two walks.

The Lady Saints (8-3, 5-2 IVC) banged out seven hits with Sarah Vinci and Angelinn Ciraci each cracking a pair of singles.

Newcomerstown (7-6, 4-3 IVC) collected just two hits, a single each by Taylor Postel and Kaitlyn Stringer.

GNADENHUTTEN -- Morgan Miles came through with what turned out to be the game winning RBI in the first inning and then fired a three-hit shut out to lead the Lady Braves to a 1-0 non conference with over the Lady Mustangs on Thursday. It was the first win for Indian Valley (5-5) over Claymont in three years.

Miles, who is a senior, leads the team in RBIs and hits. Her single in the first frame brought home Rikki Ohler, who got on with a bunt and moved to second on Alexandre Smart's sacrifice. On the mound, Miles gave up just three base hits to go with two strikeouts and two walks.

Freshman Haylea Debolt took the loss for Claymont (5-7) as she surrendered five base hits while striking out two and walking one.

MAGNOLIA -- The Lady Trojans dropped a 13-3 Inter-Valley Conference loss at the hands of the Lady Cardinals in a mercy rule, six inning game on Wednesday.

Newcomerstown struck early with a run in the first inning before giving up three to Sandy Valley in the second. After the Lady Trojans added another run in the third to close to 3-2, it was all Red and White after that as the Lady Cardinals outscored their visitors 10-1 the rest of the way.

Cydney McMillan suffered the loss for the Lady Trojans (7-5, 4-2 IVC) as she gave up 10 hits while walking six and hitting two. The Orange and Black also had three fielding errors. Jordan Fonte picked up the pitching win for Sandy Valley (7-4, 6-2 IVC).

Allie Hinton led Newcomerstown with a double and RBI while Kelsey McCune nailed an RBI single in the first inning. Kelli Mohr had a double and three RBI for the hosts. Lexi Montgomery also got an RBI.

SUGARCREEK -- The Lady Generals overcame a three-hit performance at the plate and six errors to post a 4-3 IVC win over the Lady Pirates on Wednesday.

Amanda Bible brought home two runs in the first inning for Ridgewood with a single to put her team up 2-1.

After Garaway went up 3-2, the Lady Generals scored runs in fourth and fifth innings, including Jasmine Pelfrey's score on a Pirate error that broke the tie.

Taylor Zinkon got the mound win for Ridgewood (3-11, 3-6 IVC) while Cassie Yoder took the loss.

Anya Misko had a two-run homer for Garaway (6-6, 4-4 IVC).

CANTON -- The Lady Braves were handcuffed at the plate by Chelsea Bell as they suffered a 6-0 PAC loss to the Lady Trojans on Wednesday.

The game was knotted 0-0 until Timken erupted for all six of its runs in the bottom of the sixth. Several Lady Brave errors helped their cause.

Kelsey Kochman had two of the five hits that Indian Valley (4-5, 2-5 PAC) was able to produce. Kochman also took the mound loss as she gave up just five hits and struck out seven.

Ridgewood 7, Malvern 3

WEST LAFAYETTE -- The Lady Generals got out to a 6-1 lead after two innings and cruised to a 7-3 win over the Lady Hornets in IVC action on Tuesday.

Laura Dotson brought home three runs with a two run single and suicide bunt while teammates Haley Cutshall and Jasmine Pelfrey each cracked two base hits.

Taylor Zinkon earned the win for Ridgewood (2-11, 2-6 IVC) while Taylor Zeiger was tagged with the loss.

Paige Thompson led Malvern (6-6, 3-4 IVC) with two doubles and a single.
