GNADENHUTTEN -- Ridgewood High's Tanner Stoffer tallied 23 points and earned team MVP honors to lead the West to a 99-94 triumph hover the East in the District 5 Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game at Indian Valley High School on Friday.

Stoffer received plenty of scoring support, with Coshocton's Brandon Taylor scoring 20; New Philadelphia's Ron Miller netting 14; and the Hiland duo of Neil Gingerich and Seger Bonifant both adding 12.

Taking game honors and gaining East MVP honors was Malvern's Travis Tucci, who scored 30 points. Others in double figures were Andrew Milhoan of Sandy Valley with 12 points and Shawn Ball of Malvern with 11.

The West girls also won, 78-53.

Hiland's McKenzie Miller was the West MVP and East Liverpool's Mallory Waggle was the East MVP.
