The Newcomerstown High Trojans rallied on Monday for a 3-2 victory over visiting Malvern High in Inter-Valley Conference baseball action.
The Trojans tallied a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to rally from a 2-1 hole for the win.
Senior Eric Rose chalked up an RBI double to score Boss Gibson with the winning run, after Gibson had reached on a fielder's choice.
Gibson (3-4) picked up the win on the mound for NHS, finishing with a complete game effort with four strikeouts and one walk for the Trojans.
Caleb Fenton led the Trojans (4-20, 2-10 IVC) with three singles while Jordan Wharff chipped in with a double, two singles and Dustin Hickman singled twice.
Malvern was limited to singles from Tyler Litten, Nick Motte and John Film.

NEW PHILADELPHIA -- A tough first inning sent the Newcomerstown High Trojans down to a 11-1 setback in the season finale at Tuscarawas Central Catholic in an Inter-Valley Conference make-up game on Tuesday.
The Trojans plated a run in the top of the first frame, but the host Saints came roaring back in the bottom of the inning.
The Saints tallied a whopping 10 runs in their first at bat off Newcomerstown starter Dustin Hickman to grab control for good.
Hickman would be saddled with the pitching loss for NHS (4-23), striking out one with four walks.
The Trojans only managed to muster three hits, with Hickman's double leading the way while Eric Rose and Joseph Crank each singled.
Jimmy Tolloti banged out a triple, two singles to lead Tusky Catholic (21-8), while Gage Miller ripped a home run and single and Tyler Hren chipped in with a double.
