WEST LAFAYETTE -- With a 2-0 shutout of visiting Carrollton, the Ridgewood Lady Generals improved to a perfect 3-0 in girls' soccer action.

Kalynn Bluck and Mackenzie Bates each scored a goal to lead Ridgewood.

The first goal came with 14:36 to play in the first half when Stormie Curry hit Bluck with a pass which she deposited in the goal for a 1-0 Lady Generals' lead.

Bates then sealed the deal with an unassisted goal with 10:54 remaining in the contest.

The Lady Generals outshot Carrollton (1-1-0) 17-14 and had four corner kicks to none for Carrollton.

Ridgewood goalkeeper Sam Moore recorded eight saves while Carrollton's Alex Grunder had five stops.
