NEW PHILADELPHIA -- The Indian Valley High golf team finished in the middle of a three-way team battle on Tuesday at Oak Shadows Golf Course.
The Braves' team total of 175 was good for second, barely edging Coshocton by a stroke. Host New Philly took the top spot with a team score of 168.
Shawn Mills took medalist honors for Indian Valley (16-4), firing at 38 over the par-36 front nine. Teammate Mitchell Lehigh posted a 40 while Bret Penick and Brett Rentsch completed the Indian Valley scoring with a 47 and 50, respectively.

MASSILLON -- Indian Valley High picked up a PAC-7 golf victory over host Tuslaw on Wednesday at the Elm Golf Course.
The Braves shot 167 to pick up the win, with Tuslaw turning in as core of 182.
Mitchell Lehigh earned medalist honors for the Braves (17-3) with a solid round of 38. Shawn Mills followed with 41, Bret Penick finished at 42 and Jaden Hartzler turned in a 46.

WEST LAFAYETTE -- Ridgewood High dropped a 157-169 dual match decision to visiting Buckeye Trail on Thursday at River Greens.
Trail's Jed Burga fired a one-over par 37 to take medalist honors.
Ridgewood's effort was paced by Tyler Davis, who carded a 38. Teammate Sam Cucher followed closely with a 40 while Nick Blakley and Wesley Cochran posted scores of 45 and 46, respectively.

SUGARCREEK -- Newcomerstown High's search for a Inter-Valley Conference golf victory will have to continue another day as the host Garaway Pirates claimed a 157-239 victory on the back nine of the Willandale Golf Course Thursday.
Garaway (4-0, 4-0 IVC) was paced by two players sharing medalist honors as Cooper Stutzman and Caleb Beachy each fired a one-over 37. Cody Mast followed carding a 40, while Giles Immel, Jon Mason and Adam Andreas each came in with a 43.
Zach Gibson led the Trojans (1-7, 0-4 IVC) with a score of 47 followed by Jared Brooks with a 56, Lincoln Shaw in at 66 and Codi Rothacher rounded out the team score shooting a 70.
