The River View boys and Tuscarawas Valley girls took top team honors in the J.D. Milburn Relays hosted by Newcomerstown High on Friday.

River View's boys finished with 92 points while Tusky Valley was the runner-up with 86. Newcomerstown took third with 75 followed by Indian Valley (52), Ridgewood (45), Cuyahoga Heights (41) and Horizon Science (9).

The Tusky Valley girls prevaled with 96 points, followed by Indian Valley (87), River View (71), Cuyahoga Heights (63), Ridgewood (49), Newcomerstown (41) and Horizon Science (7).

In the boys' all-relay meet,Newcomerstown won the shot put, discus and shuttle hurdles; finished second in the long jump; third in the high jump, 800-meter relay, 1600-meter relay and 6400-meter relay; fourth in the 400-meter relay; fifth in the 3200-meter relay; sixth in the distance medley relay; and seventh in the sprint medley relay.

The Ridgewood boys were first in the long jump; second in the shot put; third in the distance medley and 3200; fourth in the high jump; fifth in the discus, 400, 800, 1600 and 6400; and sixth in the pole vault, sprint medley and shuttle hurdles.

The Indian Valley boys were second in the 400; third in the pole vault, discus and long jump; fourth in the 800, shuttle hurdles, 3200, 6400, sprint medley and distance medley; fifth in the shot put; and seventh in the 1600.

In the girls' meet, the Lady Trojans were second in the pole vault and discus; third in the high jump; fourth in the shot put and long jump; fifth in the 400-meter relay, the sprint medley relay the distance medley relay, the 800-meter relay and 1600-meter relay; and sixth in the shuttle hurdles.

The Ridgewood girls were second in the high jump; third in the long jump, 1600, sprint medley and shuttle hurdles; fourth in the 6400; fifth in the 3200; sixth in the distance medley, discus, pole vault and shot put; and seventh in the 800.

The Indian Valley girls were first in the shot put, distance medley, shuttle hurdles and 3200; second in the 1600 and long jump; third in the 400, 800 and 6400; fourth in the pole vault, sprint medley and discus; and sixth in the high jump.
