HEBRON -- Indian Valley High runners took part in the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships at National Trail Raceway on Saturday.

The IV boys' team finished in 16th place in Division II with 383 points.

Freshman Trevor Ault led the Braves with a 64th place finish in 17:15.94 followed by freshman Cody Booth (94th, 17:34.61); sophomore Mitchell Giffen (121st, 17:56.66); senior Bailey McBeth (136th, 18:34.99); senior Evan Menefee (141st, 18:52.73); Collin Border (148th, 19:28.30); and freshman Brandon Leggett (149th, 19:37.62).

Defiance won the Division II team title while senior Matt Bromley of Sheridan was the individual champion (16:04.58).

Indian Valley senior Paige Saho was 38th (19:45.30) in the Division II girls' race.
