WEST LAFAYETTE -- The Ridgewood High boys's golf team put together its best match of the year to defeat Tusky Valley, 168-190, in a dual match at River Greens Golf Course on Tuesday.
Pacing Ridgewood (5-2) was the match-medalist, Trey Stoffer with a 40 followed by Cody Ramsey (41), Palmer Erb (43), Adam Matusik (44), Ryan Zinkon (47) and Kenny Lott (49).
WEST LAFAYETTE -- Indian Valley High just slipped past Ridgewood by a final count of 200-204 to pick up an Inter-Valley Conference victory in girls' golf action at River Greens Golf Course on Tuesday.
Leading the way for the Lady Braves was Olivia Shaw with a 47 followed by Makayla Keathley (48), Kiera Brown (50) and Mackenzie Morrison (55).
For the Lady Generals, Sadie Wilson recorded a team-best 45 and earned match-medalist honors. Following Wilson were Lexi Zimmer (51), Hallie Reed (51) and Brianna Brady (57).
BOLIVAR -- Visiting Ridgewood High continued its dominant league play defeating Sandy Valley by a mere two strokes, 163-165, in prep golf action at Wilkshire Golf Course on Wednesday.
Adam Matusik led Ridgewood (6-2 IVC) with a 39 followed by Trey Stoffer (40), Palmer Erb (42), Ryan Zinkon (42), Cody Ramsey (44) and Kenny Lott (46).
Medalist honors went to Jared Eichelberger of Sandy Valley with 36.
WEST LAFAYETTE -- Newcomerstown High dropped a dual match to River View at Hickory Flats Golf Course on Wednesday, with the Bears winning 168-182.
Pacing Newcomerstown was Thurman Gibson with a 43 followed by Levi Kilpatrick (45), Chase Arnold (45), Kaden Shepard (49), Kayla Gibson (52) and Austin Gano (58).
Riley Emig was the match medalist with a 41 for River View.
WEST LAFAYETTE -- The Indian Valley girls' golf squad picked up another Inter-Valley Conference victory over Sandy Valley on Wednesday, winning by a 189-205 score
Makayla Keithley led the way for IVHS with a 40 with other scorers being Olivia Shaw (44), Mady McDaniel (52) and Mckenzie Morrison (53).
"The biggest thing for us right now is that the girls want to continue to get better," offered Indian Valley coach Harry Huggins. "The girls have played real well the past couple of matches and they still go straight to the driving range to try and continue to get better."
UHRICHSVILLE -- Visiting Ridgewood High placed second in a triangular match against Claymont and Carrollton in girls' golf action at Big Bend Golf Course on Wednesday.
The Lady Warriors won the match with a 174 while the Lady Generals finished a close second with a 179 and the Lady Mustangs placed last with a 201.
Sadie Wilson led all Ridgewood scorers with a 41 followed closely by Lexi Zimmer with a 42. Other scorers include Hallie Reed (47), Brianna Brady (49), Sydney Mattis (55) and Ally Dotson (67).
Grace Bartlow was the match-medalist with a 38 for Carrollton.
UHRICHSVILLE -- Visiting Newcomerstown High dropped a dual match against Inter-Valley Conference foe, Claymont by a score of 166-186 at Big Bend Golf Course on Wednesday.
Pacing the Trojans was Thurman Gibson and Levi Kilpatrick with 43s followed by Chase Arnold (50), Kayla Gibson (50), Kaden Shepard (51) and Brandon Cutshall (52) while Joe Cottis earned medalist honors for the Mustangs with a 40.
Other scorers for Claymont include AJ Henry (42), Cam Henry (42) and David Watson (42).

NEW CONCORD - Host John Glenn squeezed out a two-stroke win over visiting Ridgewood and also beat Sheridan by eight strokes in a girls' triangular match at Wildfire Golf Course Thursday.
John Glenn (7-5) finished with a team score of 198, while Ridgewood came in at 200 and Sheridan finished with a 206 total.
Paige German paced the Lady Muskies with a 47 followed by Mackenzie Garber and Laine Jordan each with a 49, while Rachel Saltz rounded out the team scoring carding a 53.
Ridgewood was led by match medalist Sadie Wilson who fired a 41. Other scorers for the Lady Generals were Lexi Zimmer with a 46, Sydney Matis at 56, while Hallie Reed and Brianna Brady each shot a 57.
Chloe Martin and Ruth Shriner were the top scorers for the Lady Generals of Sheridan with each recording a 50. Payton Boyer and Liberty Justice rounded out the team scoring with a 53 each.

Ridgewood's Trey Stoffer garnered match medalist honors with a season best 35. Other scorers for the Generals were Ryan Zinkon with a 39, Palmer Erb close behind at 40 and Adam Matusik with a 44.
Leading the Warriors of Buckeye Trail was Micah Millhon who carded a 49. Other scorers for BT were Micah Milhoan (49), Rylie Smith (50) and Alex Patterson (54).

BOLIVAR - Strasburg High edged Garaway by two strokes to capture the All-County Classic golf tournament at Zoar Village Golf Course on Thursday.
Strasburg finished with a 308-stroke total to Garaway's 310. Dover (335) finished third followed by New Philadelphia (339), Claymont (342), Indian Valley (352), Tusky Valley (355), Newcomerstown (364) and Tusky Catholic (410).
Garaway's Brevin Weaver earned match medalist honors with a 72, with Strasburg's Mitch Neidenthal as the runner-up at 74.
Indian Valley's low man was Dalton Burcher with an 81 followed by Austin Rummell (85), Mason Rummell (88) and Evan Miller (98).
Thurman Gibson led Newcomerstown with an 85, with Levi Kilpatrick close behiind at 87. Chase Arnold's 96 and Kaden Shepherd's 97 rounded out the Trojans' scoring.
