Jennifer Marie Riffle, Cleveland, and John David Stockdale, Lakewood, were married Nov. 8, 2008, in Saint Luke's Church, Lakewood. The 1:30 p.m. wedding ceremony was performed by Father Francis Walsh.

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Sue Riffle, Newcomerstown, and the groom's parents are Francis and Carole Stockdale, Rocky River.

Bridal attendants included the bride's sister, Julie McCullough, matron of honor, and Shannon Hunt, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Abby McCullough, niece of the bride.

Kevin Brosien, friend of the groom, served as best man. Tim O'Malley, friend of the groom, was groomsman. Ushers were Tom Stockdale and Kevin Stockdale, brothers of the groom.

Readings were by Karen Doyle, Lisa Strang and Susie Castle, sisters of the groom.

The wedding reception took place at Brennan's Party Center.

The bride graduated from Newcomerstown High School, Bowling Green State University, and Cleveland State University with a master's degree in communications. She is employed by Time Warner Cable as a marketing research specialist. The groom graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in finance.

The couple honeymooned in Philadelphia, PA, and reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
