Now standing at 19-2, the win was the 17th straight for the Braves after starting the season at 2-2.Iacobucci, who ran his record to 7-1, struck out six and walked five, but most importantly, he allowed only one single while on the mound for six innings. Logan Cozart and Adam Mizer finished up the game in relief.On offense, the Braves strung together five hits in the fourth inning en route to scoring six runs and put the game safely in control. Indian Valley scored its first run in the second inning when Andy Allensworth, who connected on a double, was brought home by Alex Knecht's sacrifice fly. In the fifth, Cozart and Allensworth received free passes, followed by a Mizer RBI single. A two run single by Knecht was then followed by Matt Wheeler's RBI double. Bobby Hall closed out the scoring with a two run base hit. Despite outhitting the Hornets, 8-3, the Generals (12-13, 8-6 IVC) could only manage one run, a fifth inning RBI single by Derek Young. Drew Markley had three base hits for the Orange and Black.On the mound, Chris Roberts took the loss while Sean Kettering was credited with the win.
