Patricia Ann Wilson, 77, of Newcomerstown (Peoli), passed away at 9:10 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 in the Union Hospital Emergency Room, Dover.

Born March 27, 1933, in Clinton, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Theron Paul DeLoe and Alice Bernice Hayes DeLoe.

Pat was a 1951 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, Iowa. She was employed by the Freeport Press, was a member of the West Union United Methodist Church, the West Union Church Domino Club, the Perry Township Seniors of West Chester, a volunteer gatekeeper for the Tuscarawas County Fair Board and a volunteer at Journey's End Ministries in Newcomerstown.

Her husband, Robert Dean Wilson, who survives; they married Nov. 6, 1952. Also surviving are five daughters, Anne (Jim) Darrah of Peoli, Rebecca Szoke of Zanesville, Susan (Charles) Knight of Peoli, Linda (David) Bolz of LaCross, Kan., and Kay (Ted) Ickes of Birmingham; a sister, Sheron Stralow of Chicago, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Juanita DeLoe of Clinton, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Szoke in 2004; a brother, Richard DeLoe; and a grandson, Jason Ickes in 2009.

A memorial service took place May 14 at the West Union Church in Port Washington with Pastor Beth Mansperger officiating.

The Free Funeral Home in Freeport was in charge of arrangements.
