The following is the September schedule for the Newcomerstown Quilting Bees:

Sept. 6 A new Beginners Quilt Piecing class will begin. Sign-up in the Newcomerstown Public Library and pick up a supply list. For the next 10 months, this class will meet and tackle a different block and come next June you will be able to assemble a quilt top. This class meets the first Thursday of each month from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $5 each month.

Sept. 11 Quilting Bees will meet from 9 a.m. to ? They will be starting new projects in time for the Christmas season. A twister wreath will be started and one can view it and the other future project on the library's web page dealing with the Quilt Bees.

Sept. 13 Quilting Bees will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. A time to finish up past projects or time to start a new adventure, such as a twister wreath.

Sept. 18 UFO (UnFinished Objects) from 9 a.m. to ? Anyone is invited! Work on finishing up some of the spring and summer projects, and begin some Christmas gifts!

Sept. 25 UFO from 9 a.m. to ?

Sept. 27 UFO from 6 to 9 p.m.

They are still working on the Bicentennial Quilt at the museum each Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Hand-quilters are needed and be a part of Newcomerstown's future history!
