Ridgewood having musical
WEST LAFAYETTE -- Tickets are now on sale for Ridgewood's musical, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
The show is March 21, 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Ridgewood High School's Auditorium.

Blood drive set
A blood drive is set for Wednesday, March 20 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown.

Soup supper set
ORANGE -- The Blue Ridge Grange will have an all-you-can-eat soup supper on Saturday, March 16. Serving starts at 4:30 p.m.
The menu includes seven kinds of soup, salads, desserts, and beverages.
The cost is $7.
Easter cookie/candy sale set
The Christ United Methodist Church in Newcomerstown will have an Easter cookie/candy sale on Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Fellowship Hall.
The price is $6 per pound and you get to make your own selections. The sale is sponsored by the River Ringers and Cuba Mission Team.
Easter egg hunt set
PORT WASHINGTON -- Tri-County Auxiliary will sponsor an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. (sharp) at Belden Park, Bremer Street, Port Washington.
The hunt is for ages toddler through 10, and there will be three age divisions: 4 and under, 5 to 8, and 9 to 10.
A special "lucky" egg will be placed in each division and the finder will receive a prize.
Fish fry fundraiser
The Newcomerstown Bicentennial Committee will have a fish fry on Saturday, March 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas Montgomery American Legion Post on Canal Street.
This will be open to the public.
The menu will be: Fish, French fries, choice of cole slaw or macaroni salad and dessert. Beverages will be extra. The cost for the meal will be $8 for adults and $6 for children 11 and under. The proceeds will go toward the expenses for the 2014 Bicentennial celebration. Advanced tickets are advised, there will be a very limited supply of tickets at the door.

Scavenger Hunt set
Victory Assembly of God in Newcomerstown is sponsoring a community scavenger hunt to start March 28.
Eggs marked Victory Assembly of God will be hidden between Canal and Main streets in Newcomerstown. All eggs guarantee a prize but 10 specially marked grand prize eggs will award a $50 gas card, $50 Walmart card and more.
To redeem prizes, you must be present at the Victory Assembly of God 10:45 a.m. service on Easter Sunday morning.
Victory Assembly of God is located at 311 S. College St. in Newcomerstown, directly across from Baker's IGA.

Feinstein Challenge to start
Journey's End Ministries in Newcomerstown is once again having its annual Feinstein Challenge fundraiser, March 1 through April 30. A portion of all monies raised during this time will be matched by the Feinstein organization.

Recovery discussion meeting
NEW PHILADELPHIA -- An open discussion recovery meeting is set for Wednesday, March 13 at 5 p.m. at the Christian Lighthouse Church, 260 21st St. SE, New Philadelphia.
COSHOCTON -- Applications are now being accepted for gift and craft vendors interested in participating in the 2013 Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival. This year's festival, sponsored by Frontier Power, will be June 7-9 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds.
Craft and gift vendor spaces are available for $50 (10-foot by 10-foot) and $80 (20-foot by10-foot).

Soup and baked potato luncheon
GNADENHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Lions Club will have a soup and baked potato luncheon on Sunday, March 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Masonic Temple.
The meal costs $5 and desserts are $1 each.
There will also be a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.
Donations are being sought for the annual Cy Young Youth League auction set for Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. in the Laborers Local Hall, corner of Main and River streets, Newcomerstown.
They are asking for donations of merchandise or gift certificates.
The youth league serves approximately 300 boys and girls in ages 5 to 16.

Chicken dinner set
Tickets are available for the Cy Young Youth League's chicken dinner set for Saturday, April 27 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Youth League Fields, rear of Neighbor Street, Newcomerstown. The meal will be held rain or shine.
The meal includes half a chicken with potato salad, baked beans, roll, and beverage.
Tickets are $7 each.

COSHOCTON -- A weekly adult grief support group meets every Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Health Services and Hospice of Coshocton, 230 S. 4th St., Coshocton.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off
Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
