Choir to perform
COSHOCTON -- The Coshocton Community Choir will be performing "The Christmas Rose" on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the McKinley Auditorium, Coshocton High School.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/children.

The Newcomerstown Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce, will be Saturday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. Line-up starts at 4 p.m. at Cy Young Park, Newcomerstown.
Santa will be in the East Elementary School, immediately following the parade. There will be treats and refreshments.

Blood drive set
St. Paul's Lutheran Church is hosting the Newcomerstown community blood drive for the American Red Cross at 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown, on Wednesday, Nov. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m.

Holiday market set
Newcomerstown Library will be having its annual Thanksgiving holiday market on Wednesday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
There are still a few spaces left for vendors.
Call the library at 498-8228 to reserve a table.
Round, square dance set
STONE CREEK -- Round and square dance is planned for Nov. 30 from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Tunnel Hill Community Center, Stone Creek.
Music will be provided by the Hand-Picked Band and Gary Wood calling the squares.
Admission is $5 for those 12 and older; 6 to 12 is $3; and under 6 is free.
There will be cake walks and a door prize.
The kitchen will be open with sandwiches and desserts.
Adult grief support group
COSHOCTON -- A weekly adult grief support group meets every other Friday at 11 a.m. in the Health Services and Hospice of Coshocton, 230 S. 4th St., Coshocton. The next meeting is set for July 5.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off
Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
