Soup supper set
ORANGE -- On Saturday, Nov. 8 at 4:30 p.m., the Blue Ridge Grange in Orange will be hosting an all-you-can-eat soup supper. The Grange hall is located at Route 751 and 36. The menu includes seven different kinds of soup, salad, drink and dessert. The cost is $7 per person (only soup is all-you-can-eat). All proceeds go to the Blue Ridge Grange. Kurz Kasch monthly retirement luncheon is set for Nov. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at April's Country Kitch'n in Newcomerstown.
Steak fry set
GNADENHUTTEN -- On Friday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m., the Port Washington Masonic Lodge 202 in Gnadenhutten at 112 S. Walnut St., will have its semiannual steak fry. The menu is 10 ounce strip steak for $15, chop steak for $10 or baked potato with salad bar for $8. All dinners come with dessert and salad bar and beverage.
Monetary donations are being sought for the Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce's annual Toys for Local Tots program. Each year, more than 100 children in the Newcomerstown School District receive gifts for the holiday season through this program.

Holiday bazaar set
The West Union Church, Gilmore Road, plans to have its holiday bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A bake sale and food stand are also planned. All proceeds will go for helping the church and needy families for Christmas.
Christmas bazaar set
GNADNEHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Moravian Church will have its Christmas bazaar on Nov. 8 form 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the church. There will be crafts, baked goods, candy, and Moravian merchandise.
'Pick Your Pasta Dinner' set
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Newcomerstown is having a Pick Your Pasta Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu consists of choosing a pasta of spaghetti, rotini, or wheat penne pasta, salad, applesauce, bread and butter, dessert, and drink.
Carry-out is available. Pre-sale discount tickets may be purchased at the church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown, during office hours 9 a.m. to noon or from Pastor Ken Hacker and Sascha Durben through Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Pre-sale prices are $6 for adults and $3.50 for kids 5-12 years old. Ticket prices at the door will be $7 for adults, $4 for kids 5-12 years old. Children 4 and younger are free. Proceeds will benefit the Christian Education program and Men's Outreach group at St. Paul Lutheran Church. For questions, call the church office, 498-6682, between 9 a.m. and noon.
Craft bazaar set
The seventh annual craft show is set for Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newcomerstown Churches of Christ in Christian Union, corner of State Street and McKinley Avenue, Newcomerstown.
There will be a lunch stand and baked goods for sale. Homemade vegetable soup, along with sandwiches and desserts will be available.
Turkey dinner set
GNADNEHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Moravian Church will have a turkey dinner on Nov. 8 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. The meal costs $10 each. It is for dine-in or carry-out.
5K Run planned
WEST LAFAYETTE -- Habitat for Humanity of Coshocton County will have its annual Habitat Builds a Home ... 5K Run/Walk on Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. at Burt Park in West Lafayette. Pre-registration fee is $20. Chicken dinner set
Newcomerstown Middle School will be hosting a chicken dinner on Friday, Nov. 14, in the NMS cafeteria from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., prior to the NHS Thespian production "Newcomerstown In A Nutshell" scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Take-out meals will also be available.
Baker's IGA will be catering the dinner, consisting of half a chicken, potato salad, baked beans, dinner roll, dessert and a drink for $7.

Donkey basketball show
The world famous Buckeye Donkey Ball Donkeys will be have a donkey basketball show on Nov. 21 at Newcomerstown High School. Tickets are $8 at the gate or $6 in advance. Tickets may be purchased at the Newcomersown Middle School, Coach Stevens, any track athlete or call the office. The event is sponsored by the Newcomerstown Track team.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off
Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
