F. Dale and Gladys Veley, 9610 St. Rt. 36 SW, Port Washington, observed their 50th wedding anniversary March 20. In celebration of the occasion, the family planned a dinner for this month and a family vacation is planned in the summer.

The Veleys were married on March 20, 1959, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Port Washington. Rev. Glenn Rettig performed the ceremony. Rachel Horn Schwab served as maid of honor, and Jerry Edwards was best man.

Mrs. Veley's parents are the late Clarence and Hazel Schwab, and Veley's parents are the late Archie and Mary Jane Veley.

Mrs. Veley is a homemaker. Veley retired from Bogner Construction in Wooster as a carpenter and is a member of Carpenters Union Local 69. Both are life members of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Port Washington.

Their children are Dale A. Veley, Polly (Duke) Stark, and Penny (Tom) Stull, all of Port Washington. Three grandchildren complete their family.
