Duncan Falls United Methodist Church was the setting for the marriage of Darlene Thornton and Brian E. Heston on Oct. 11, 2008. Rev. Jody Holland conducted the double-ring wedding ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Jim and Jean Thornton, Malta, and the groom is the son of Clifford and Mary Heston, 76715 Old 21 Rd., Kimbolton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Special music was performed by Tonnya Goral and organist, Grace Tucker. Jenna Stonerock read poems written by the groom's late grandfather, E.J. Heston.

Jessica Cunningham, the bride's friend, was maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Kris Puskarich and Cindy Sievers, sisters of the groom, and Brandi Belle, friend of the bride. Flower girl attendants were Belle and Allie Norman, friends of the bride.

Best men were Matt Puskarich and Scott Sievers, brothers-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Lucas Puskarich, nephew of the groom, and Jim Thornton, brother of the bride.

Ring bearer was Ben Puskarich, nephew of the groom.

Jack Stonerock passed out bubbles.

The wedding reception took place at the Chandlersville Community Building for 125 guests. Serving as hosts were Sue Slasor, Helen Heston, and Roger and Marge Seaton.

The bride graduated from Philo High School and Zane State College. She is employed as manager of Lowe's outside garden department. The groom graduated from Cambridge High, Mid-East Career Center, and Zane State College's welding program, and is employed with Little Excavating.

The couple resides on Rough & Ready Rd., New Concord.
