Erin Elizabeth Strapp and Ryan Christopher Schrader were united in marriage in the Trinity Episcopal Church, Columbus, OH, Aug. 22, 2009. The Rev. Richard A. Burnett performed the double-ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Leo Welsh was vocalist and Sara Seidel, organist.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Kathleen Strapp, Urbana, OH. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Paul and Thelma Curby of Newcomerstown. Parents of the groom are Chris and Julie Schrader, Huntsville, OH, and Cheryl Schrader, Lakeview, OH.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matrons of honor were the bride's friend, Crystal Hutter, Burlingame, CA, and Lisa Curby, Zanesville, aunt of the bride.
Bridesmaids included: Molly Hall, Belle Center, sister of the groom; Jaclyn Little, Hilliard, friend of the bride; Hoang Schneider, Hamilton, friend of the bride; Whitney Schrader, Huntsville, sister of the groom; Nicole Schwieterman, Maumee, sister of the groom, and Monica Weber, Broadview Heights, friend of the bride.
Serving as best men were Chris Schrader, father of the groom, and Matthew Miranda, West Chester, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were: Wes Hall, Belle Center, brother-in-law of the groom; Heath Kindle, DeGraff, brother of the groom, and Jamie Schwieterman, Maumee, the groom's brother-in-law. Ushers were David Curby, Zanesville, uncle of the bride, and Andrew Ames, Bellefontaine, friend of the groom.
Flower girl was Sydney Schwieterman, Maumee, niece of the groom, and ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Maddux Hall, Belle Center.
Program attendant was Nancy Strapp, Cincinnati, aunt of the bride.
The wedding reception took place at The Athletic Club of Columbus.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Urbana High School, a 2001 graduate of Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology, and a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with her Juris Doctorate. Her husband is a 1995 graduate of Indian Lake High School, a 1999 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law with his Juris Doctorate. Both are employed with Rauser & Associates, Columbus.
The couple is residing in Columbus.
