Barbara and Richard Quillen of Decatur, Ga., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 1, 2013.

On Jan. 1, 1953, Barbara Angle, daughter of Mina and Harry Angle, and Richard Quillen, son of Margaret and Delbert Quillen, were united in marriage at the home of the bride, 329 W. State St., Newcomerstown.

The Rev. J. Donald Carrico officiated the ceremony.

Grace Haugh and William J. Welsch attended the couple.

Mrs. Quillen retired from GenCorp Polymer Products.

Mr. Quillen retired from Alsco Anaconda. He is a member of Coshocton Sportsmen Club.

The couple are members of Kimbolton United Methodist Church.

They have two sons, Roger (Joanna) Quillen, Decatur, Ga., and Ronald Quillen, Phoenix, Ariz.

Completing the family circle are grandchildren, Kelsey (Ben) Emerson, Robert, Emma Quillen and Lydia and Ross Quillen.

An open house to celebrate the special occasion will be Jan. 6 in Decatur, Ga.
