DOVER -- Prom season is quickly approaching! The ninth annual Prom Showcase and Dress Resale, which is sponsored by Safe Kids Tuscarawas, is set for Feb. 18 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Dover Alliance Church.
They will have help for that total look plus how to avoid dangerous or embarrassing social situations plus health and safety tips. They will have consultants to help accessorize your total look and guests who complete their passports will be entered to win fabulous prom-oriented door prizes! Come spend the evening with Safe Kids Tuscarawas, 4-H Food & Fashion Board, Bistro 131, Pam's Posies, Z Hair Salon, MADD, Highway Patrol, Super Fitness just to name a few! Bring cash to purchase dresses; purchased dresses will be sent home in dress bags provided by Catola's Dry Cleaners.
Have a dress you'd like to sell? Bring your gently used prom dresses for the Prom Dress Resale to Dover Alliance Church on Friday, Feb. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There's a $5 donation per seller (no matter how many dresses you are trying to sell!) Any dresses not sold at the showcase on Feb. 18 will be given a second chance to sell on Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. (all dresses must be picked up by 7 p.m. then).
