The Newcomerstown Historical Society announces that the March 2 performance of "A Titanic Evening" and spaghetti dinner has been sold out. However, they are adding a second "Titanic Evening" and spaghetti dinner at the Olde Main Street Museum and Social Center, 213 W. Canal St., Newcomerstown, on Saturday, March 9 at 6 p.m.
Local longtime story-teller and living historian Chris Hart will be portraying Titanic survivor Mr. Peter Daly.
A true and riveting account of the sinking of the HMS Titanic on her maiden voyage in April 1912.
Hear Mr. Daly's true account of how he became a first-class passenger. Learn what life was like aboard the luxury liner in the days leading up to the disaster. A very large collection of Titanic memorabilia will be on display including an actual life jacket and deck chair from the live, "Titanic," pictures and signatures of survivors, lots of photos, historical facts, and too many other items to list.
