The Newcomerstown Public Library will sponsor a Holiday Market Day on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Library Annex at 123 E. Main St.

The Market Day will offer locally produced products, baked goods, candy, crafts, locally grown apples much more.

The market is sure to have something for the last minute shopper as well as those behind on their holiday food preparation.

Vendors and shoppers at the popular Farmers Market held in the Newcomerstown Library parking lot from June to September asked if the library could do something similar for the holidays. The first such special market took place the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was well attended.

Vendors may begin setting up at 9 a.m. on Dec. 20. Space inside the building is limited to 15 vendors. The event is currently full but vendors may contact the library to be placed on a waiting list in the event a vendor cancels and a slot becomes available. Tables not occupied by 9:30 a.m. will be allocated on a first comer first serve basis. Guidelines and a vendor application are available on the library's Web site
