GNADENHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Pioneer Day's Princess contest is Friday July 31, at 6 p.m. in the Indian Valley High School Auditorium. There are five girls running for the title.

They are:

* Alysia Corpman, 12, will be in the seventh grade at Indian Valley Middle School. She is the daughter of Robin and Bill Corpman of Port Washington. She will be tap dancing for her talent. Her interests are dancing, softball and volleyball.

* Sarah Mattison, 11, will be in the sixth grade at Indian Valley Middle School. She is the daughter of Kathy Mattison of Gnadenhutten and Eric Mattison of Deersville. She will be jumping rope for her talent. Her interests are jumping rope, softball, taking family vacations and spending time with her family and friends.

* Kylie Morris, 12, will be in the eighth grade at Indian Valley Middle School. She is the daughter of Lori and Todd Herman of Gnadenhutten and Chad and Shannon Morris of Uhrichsville. She will be sing for her talent. Her interests include singing, acting, softball, cheerleading and playing volleyball.

* Kimberly Nichols, 10, will be in the fifth grade at Port Washington Elementary School. She is the daughter of Janet and Gary Nichols of Port Washington. She will be jumping rope for her talent. Her interests are Jumping rope, pee wee cheerleading, and volleyball. (Not pictured)

* Lisa Vesely, 13, will be in the eighth grade at Indian Valley Middle School. She is the daughter of John and Michele Vesely of Gnadenhutten. She will be singing for her talent. Her interests are softball, volleyball, cheerleading, cooking, youth group, shopping for shoes and hanging out with friends.

Stepping down will be Taylor Gibson, 14, of Dennison, Pioneer Princess; Courtney Welch, 12, of Gnadenhutten, 1st attendant; and Lisa Vesely, 13, of Gnadenhutten, 2nd attendant. Taylor will be holding her Queen's luncheon on Saturday Aug. 1, with registration beginning at 10 a.m. at the Masonic Temple in Gnadenhutten.

The Pioneer Days Festival will be held Aug. 1-2 at the Gnadenhutten Museum and Historical Park in Gnadenhutten.
