Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center named recipient of National Quality Award

COSHOCTON -- Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center has been recognized as one of the 2009 recipients of the Step I Quality Award presented by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) for demonstrating its commitment to continuous quality care and improvement.

The AHCA Quality Award is modeled after criteria from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation's premier recognition for quality achievement. Recipients of this prestigious award have demonstrated a commitment to quality by employing systems and processes that lead to continuous improvement in the quality of care provided to residents. The recipient, Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 83-bed nursing center. Located at 100 S. Whitewoman St., near Roscoe Village, the nursing center specializes in providing physical, occupational, and speech therapies, wound care as well as long-term and respite care.

"The award demonstrates Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center's commitment to teamwork in providing quality care to our residents," said Corey Moner, executive director.
