The Coshocton Public Library and West Lafayette Branch Library began new hours Oct. 5 to reduce the total number of hours per week the libraries are open. The changes are a result of an anticipated 30 percent cut in State funding that is 94 percent of Coshocton Public Library's revenue.

New hours at the Coshocton library are:

Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

New hours for the West Lafayette Branch are:

Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday and Friday, 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
