Benefit soup, sandwich lunch to help Wheeler family

KIMBOLTON -- A benefit soup and sandwich lunch is being planned for the family of Tim Wheeler who recently died in a tractor accident in Kimbolton. The event will take place on Dec. 6 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Kimbolton Community Center.

Vegetable beef soup, chili, ham and bean soup, corn bread, salads, sandwiches and homemade desserts will be available. Music will be provided by Mabel Pollock; Rod Bradford and Friends; The Foraker Band; Jesse, Elaine and Rance Rose; Charlie Weaver and area jammers. There will also be a raffle, cake walks and door prizes.

Cost for this event is by donation with all proceeds going to the Wheeler family. Anyone wishing to help with this benefit may call Fran Stocker at 498-5481.
