Gospel meetings set
The Church of Christ, which meets at the corner of South Goodrich and Elizabeth streets, in Newcomerstown, will have gospel meetings April 15-19. The guest speaker for this series will be Ed Melott of New Martinsville, W.Va. Brother Melott was the guest speaker three years ago when he gave seven lessons under the theme, "Jesus is the Way." He has chosen the theme, "God is ..." for the week's lessons.
Brother Melott is a native of West Virginia. He and his wife Kim have two children, Hunter and Kameron. After making a living in the construction business for much of his life, Ed made a decision that he wanted to preach the gospel as his life's work.
