In celebration of the Heller Brothers' open house, which is sponsored by the Newcomerstown Historical Society, floor models of the Heller factory will be on display at the Olde Main Street Museum and Social Center in Newcomerstown on Saturday, July 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The open house will feature refreshments and a short program. This quilt, made by Linda Bradford of West Lafayette, will also be featured. The quilt features 12 pictures from Heller Bros. She said the pictures are of items that they made here in Newcomerstown and items that most people would be familiar with. She said her and her husband, Henry, have a combined 59 years of service to Heller Bros. She also had many relatives who worked for Heller Bros. All of that service made her want to create this quilt which took her approximately one month to complete. Holding the quilt are, l to r, Linda Bradford and Gloria Johnson of the Newcomerstown Historical Society. The Heller Bros. floor models will be on display until July 22. The Newcomerstown museums are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., and after hours by calling one of the telephone numbers on the door.
