UHRICHSVILLE -- Longtime Tuscarawas County resident Camille Lindon is the newest staff member at The Village Network (TVN). Lindon is the assistant network coordinator at TVN-Uhrichsville. She will work with youth in both the day treatment and treatment foster care programs.

The Tuscarawas County location is one of 14 Ohio offices inside TVN. The agency has worked with abused and neglected boys and girls for 66 years providing residential, day treatment, treatment foster care, respite care and alternative school programs. TVN-Uhrichsville works with 65 local youth.

Lindon's previous experience includes casework inside a state hospital, other nonprofit child service organizations and a public childcare agency. The TVN-Uhrichsville position is exciting because of the larger youth groups, its trauma-focused training and the treatment foster care program according to Lindon.

"I had a desire to get back in touch with foster parents," said Lindon. "Our county has a strong need for local foster homes and I want to be part of growing that network."

Adding an experienced caseworker to the local team is a bonus according to Linda den Heijer, program manager for Canton and Uhrichsville.

"She brings new ideas," said den Heijer. "It shakes us up in a positive way."

Lindon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a graduate of Walsh University. She has a master in Counseling and Human Development.
