COLUMBUS -- State Representative Al Landis (R-Dover) was honored at the "Watchdog of the Treasury" award ceremony, hosted by the United Conservatives of Ohio. The award recognizes key legislators or policymakers who strive to restore responsible limited government, lower taxes, free enterprise and regulatory relief, and personal freedom.
"I'm proud of my work to balance Ohio's budget without raising taxes, as well as ensure taxpayer funds are not being needlessly wasted," Representative Landis said. "Receiving this award is an honor, and I will continue in my efforts to manage the people's money wisely in the future."
The United Conservatives of Ohio supports the responsible managing of taxpayers' dollars, the reduction of government waste, and a free-market system of competition among private sector firms.
