CAMBRIDGE -- In the competitive world of sports, the smallest advantage can make an enormous difference in the outcome of a game.

Southeastern Med's Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Department will offer a specialized training program this summer, PEP, to enhance power, quickness and flexibility of athletes who desire an edge over their opponents.

Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. for six weeks beginning June 10 at Southeastern Med's Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services facility, 10095 Brick Church Road, in Cambridge.

The cost of PEP is $180, which includes pre and post-testing with report, 16 sessions and a T-shirt.

PEP is for students in the sixth grade and higher who participate in any sport.

Participants do not have to be on a school team to attend sessions.

For information about PEP or to register, call Joshua Knott, MA, ATC, CSCS at 740-439-8977.
