NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Dinosaurs, reptiles and forensics are the highlight of youth programming at Kent State University at Tuscarawas this summer.

The 23rd annual College for Kids program offers 32 fun and interesting youth enrichment classes for students who were in first through eighth grades during the 2012-2013 school year. Session I is June 24-28 and Session II is July 22-26. Each five-day session offers courses from 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

A few of this year's exciting classes include: Dinosaurs, The World, Science and You, French, Spanish, Reptiles and Amphibians, Forensics Academy, Google Webmasters, Journey into Outer Space, All About Flowers, Fun with Paper Clay and Secret Agent Lab. A complete schedule is available at

Class fees range from $65 to $100. Registrations will be accepted for the June session through June 18, and for the July session through July 16. Limited financial assistance is available for the College for Kids sessions.
