Singspiration benefit set
BALTIC -- A singspiration benefit is set for Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at St. Peters United Church of Christ Fiat. Those taking part in the benefit include: Faithful Four, High Country Bluegrass and Valley Voices. The benefit will support: Bread for the World, Akron Canton Food Bank and Pirate Power Program (backpack program). A light meal will follow the singing. Donations will be accepted. Special needs ministry
COSHOCTON -- On Sunday, Oct. 20, a very special service will be presented at Roscoe United Methodist Church.
Their special needs ministry, Faith, Hope and Love, will be leading the entire 10:30 a.m. service. Children and adults with various disabilities (i.e. autism, cerebral palsy, blindness and spina bifida) will share their love and faith in God with the congregation. They will be sharing messages, prayers, and music. You will be blessed to hear the young woman who would never speak or sing and a young man, who is autistic and blind, play the piano. These are just a few of the amazing talents these special young people will be sharing that morning. Come, feel their faith and enjoy their special talents.
Roscoe United Methodist Church is located at 475 High St. (Historic Roscoe Village) in Coshocton.

Craft show set
A craft show is set for Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, 440 S. River St., Newcomerstown. Lunch stand and bake sale provided by the Ladies of St Francis. Vendors can contact Denise Thompson, 545-5149, to see if openings are still available.
Community dinner planned
The monthly community dinner at Journey's End Ministries, 205 S. River St., Newcomerstown, will be Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The meal will be provided by the Community Sewing Circle.

Fish fry, Harvest party set
GNADENHUTTEN -- A fish fry and Harvest party is set for Oct. 26 at the Gnadenhutten Full Gospel Church, 7550 Wolf Crossing Road SE, Gnadenhutten.
The fish fry is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Harvest party is from noon to 6 p.m., and bring a covered dish and enjoy fellowship. There will be games and prizes for children. Face painting will be available as well as hay rides.
Soul'd Out Quartet to perform
WEST LAFAYETTE -- The presence of God will be felt Friday, Dec. 6 at the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette when the Soul'd Out Quartet makes its appearance at 7 p.m.
The Soul'd Out Quartet is based out of Georgetown and is a group of five young men who write and perform gospel music. They sing everything from contemporary Christian music to old hymns passed down through the generations.
The quartet is returning due to overwhelming requests from last year's performance. It will be a free concert with a love offering to be taken during the event that will go towards helping the group with their expenses.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and performance starts at 7 p.m.

Church to have holiday bazaar
COSHOCTON -- Roscoe United Methodist Church in Historic Roscoe Village (475 High St., Coshocton) announces its annual holiday bazaar will be Nov. 7. The doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for a breakfast boutique. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Supper starts at 4 p.m. and will be served until the food is gone.
Some of the highlights of the day include: A used bookstore, bake sale, themed-gift baskets, holiday items and much more.

'Day of Judgment' planned at church
NEW PHILADELPHIA -- The Christian Lighthouse in New Philadelphia is hosting a free event on Oct. 18 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. and Oct. 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This free event is called "Day of Judgment." It is a walk through dramatic encounter that takes people through life's twists and turns while demonstrating the reality of Jesus and the reality of hell.
It is not recommended for children.
The church is located at 260 21st St. SE, New Philadelphia.
Church to have Gospel Meeting
The Church of Christ, corner of S. Goodrich and Elizabeth streets in Newcomerstown, will host its semi-annual Gospel Meeting next week Oct. 20-24. The guest speaker for the meeting will be Peter Ray Cole from Fairview, W.Va. The theme of the meeting is "Not Ashamed" and is taken from Romans 1:16.
Peter Ray is a preacher and a professional counselor. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting. It starts Sunday morning with a Bible study at 9:45 a.m., worship at 10:30 a.m. and an afternoon service at 1 p.m. It will continue each night Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m.
