Fish fry, Harvest party set

GNADENHUTTEN -- A fish fry and Harvest party is set for Oct. 26 at the Gnadenhutten Full Gospel Church, 7550 Wolf Crossing Road SE, Gnadenhutten.

The fish fry is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Harvest party is from noon to 6 p.m., and bring a covered dish and enjoy fellowship. There will be games and prizes for children. Face painting will be available as well as hay rides.

Soul'd Out Quartet to perform

WEST LAFAYETTE -- The presence of God will be felt Friday, Dec. 6 at the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette when the Soul'd Out Quartet makes its appearance at 7 p.m.

The Soul'd Out Quartet is based out of Georgetown and is a group of five young men who write and perform gospel music. They sing everything from contemporary Christian music to old hymns passed down through the generations.

The quartet is returning due to overwhelming requests from last year's performance. It will be a free concert with a love offering to be taken during the event that will go towards helping the group with their expenses.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and performance starts at 7 p.m.

Church to have holiday bazaar

COSHOCTON -- Roscoe United Methodist Church in Historic Roscoe Village (475 High St., Coshocton) announces its annual holiday bazaar will be Nov. 7. The doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for a breakfast boutique. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Supper starts at 4 p.m. and will be served until the food is gone.

Some of the highlights of the day include: A used bookstore, bake sale, themed-gift baskets, holiday items and much more.

Church to have Gospel Meeting

The Church of Christ, corner of S. Goodrich and Elizabeth streets in Newcomerstown, will host its semi-annual Gospel Meeting next week Oct. 20-24. The guest speaker for the meeting will be Peter Ray Cole from Fairview, W.Va. The theme of the meeting is "Not Ashamed" and is taken from Romans 1:16.

Peter Ray is a preacher and a professional counselor. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting. It starts Sunday morning with a Bible study at 9:45 a.m., worship at 10:30 a.m. and an afternoon service at 1 p.m. It will continue each night Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m.

Energize Youth Rally set

Meta Student Ministries at Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown, will be hosting Energize, a free youth rally for students in sixth to twelfth grades on Nov. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Energize will include energizing worship and epic after party with giant games, karaoke and food!

Crave Young Adult Ministries set

Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown, is excited to announce the launch of a new ministry aimed at reaching out to the young adults of the community.

What is Crave? Crave is a ministry for young adults built around Christ-centered, organic and sacred worship, with the aim of creating a generation that craves God and being in His Presence above all else.

Who is Crave for? Crave worship and events are targeted toward all young adults that are seeking to deepen their faith and relationship with God, however, anyone of any age is welcome. What can I expect? Come to Crave worship expecting an encounter with God in a relaxed, laid back environment. Crave worship focuses on powerful worship and challenging messages based on the life changing Word of God. When and where. Crave worship happens the third Thursday of each month in Hebrews coffee house at Christ UMC. Hebrews coffee house will be open before and after worship.

Crave special events will also take place throughout the year. What about my kids? Crave Kids will take places during each of the Crave Worship events, providing your children a place where they can have fun and grow in their faith.

Soup Supper set

FRESNO -- A soup supper is set for Oct. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Renner's St. Paul UCC, 7620 Renner Road SW, Fresno.

There will be homemade soups (chicken noodle, chili, vegetable and broccoli cheese), salads, pies, cake and beverage.

Donations are appreciated and benefits outreach programs.

Renner's Church is located on County Road 411 in Tuscarawas County and 6-1/2 miles north of Coshocton County Road 93 off US 36.
