Journey's End completed its new addition in September which allowed an additional 1,000-square feet to be used for food storage.

They want to thank the following for their help in making the addition a reality: Grewell Construction, Quality Contracting, Wayne Garage Door, Paint-n-Paper, and Widder Architectural. They were also assisted by the Harold C. and Marjorie Q. Rosenberry Tuscarawas County Foundation and the Reeves Foundation of Dover. In all, the project totaled approximately $40,000.

With deliveries through September, they have for the first time, delivered 1,000,000 pounds of food to the community food pantry.

Other statistics for the year show 15,000 families have been served to date which includes 50,000 family members.

While they have been able to buy at .03 cents a pound, they are still in need of money to complete the year.

They are now serving a 25 percent increase over last year with no let-up in sight.

In addition, they have also handed out nearly 90,000-pieces of clothing so donations of all kinds; food, clothing and money are needed.

All donations should be sent to: Journey's End Ministry, 205 River St., Newcomerstown, OH 43832.
