DOVER -- The Norma Johnson Center (NJC) will have a drawing and essay contest for students kindergarten through eighth grade. There are specific rules for each class. Subjects are related to forestry, conservation and natural resources.

Entries must state the entrant's name, school, school number, grade, teacher's name, T-shirt size and a home contact number. The selection committee will select first through third place in each category.

Essays must be postmarked or received at the NJC office at 85 E. Iron Ave., Dover, by March 19. Any questions concerning the contest should be directed to Norma Johnson at 330-339-7976.

Essay winners will be asked to read or display their work at the NJC recognition banquet April 3 at Union Hill United Methodist Church.
